Lots of sense in your post - do you not suspicion that it's GW's "strategery" - knowing the likelihood of just what's going down now in Iran - too get us positioned as we are now on either side of Iran?

Would you even want to think of what could happen if Iraq was still in the hands of Saddam and Afghanistan, the Taliban?
