google search proves you right, and me wrong, at least where Alaska is concerned. To my best knowledge, that's not typically the case down here. Everything's a little tougher in Alaska ;~D
I wasn't trying to be a jerk, but its a fact that black bears are a predator that hunts and kills anything it can catch easily, that includes moose calves and PEOPLE !
