Thread hijackers aren't much fun to be around either.
There's some really important stuff in this article about a few important things, but I don't think your or my ability to "trust muslims" was in there anywhere.
If this thread has wandered off on a tangent because of me, I apologize. I simply read the article and thought that trust was a big factor in the reporters reaction to the Iraqi and in our reaction to how Iraqis act while we are there.
It makes the reporter, our soldiers, and some of us feel good to see Iraqis wave and smile and have friendly encounters.I just worry that there's entirely too much trust on our part.
