Oh, please. There's a lot of American-made products there. And all the other stores carry China-made also.
Please.. do NOT buy anything TYSON. "They are going to close five of it's nine U.S. beef plants and four of six pork plants Mondays as it expects many workers will attend immigration rallies", according to news reports. (They rely on immigrant labor.)
I suspect our Springdale Arkansas Poultry plant will be closed as well.

I agree. And Tyson is a Clinton pal.
Well, if I ever need anything Wal-Mart has, I can probably find one. I have no idea where there's one in my area, but I suppose there's one somewhere.
The ACLU wouldn't sue, but the big growers who love the Mexican slave labor certainly would. It's like the dairyman who advertised that his milk was not irradiated. The dairy association sued because they said it implyed that their irradiated milk wasn't safe, and I think they won the case, since they had more money, of course.
No, growers would need to market illegal-free produce as "family grown and harvested" or some-such PC term. I, too, would pay a dollar more per head of lettuce if I knew that someone who knew to wash their hands after using the toilet had picked it.
Works for me :)
May 1st. INS day.
Will do--to WalMart, to WalMart to buy a fat pig...
I have a 4-page list for Lowe's; and if I don't have time to load it all on my flatbed, I'll buy a gift card so it will still count & I'll come back & pick it up another night.
Lunch bump.
BTTT.
Well I guess if I'm ever gonna buy an I-pod Monday is the day to do it (along with a new wardrobe - Mall of AMERICA, here I come!).
LOL. I thought I was the only person in the US not to have one of those gizmos.
Well, I hope you can't say that on Tuesday!
So, what will this backlash entail?
That's the problem in this country, apathy.
Nobody is going to do a damned thing until people come knocking down their doors. Then its too late.
Where I'm located, Starbucks hires real Americans and gives them decent jobs. Their large cup of coffee is cheaper than that of McDonalds or Dunkin Donuts.
Never thought I'd say it, but get a pastry at Starbucks with the coffee...count calories Tuesday.
Well, I've got a list but, trog that I am, there's no high tech on it :)
