I am not going to say he had a choice not to apologize, but good God it was all over the place. He just wanted to shut the people up. As soon as he apologized it all stopped. I know it is a crazy thing to apologize for but he probably figured it is just easier than hearing about it for the next five years. You know the damn media. Oopps. Did I offend you with the d word?
