If pro-life is important to you (as it is to me), you should be aware that Allen has in the past departed a bit from a fully pro-life position.

We've been over this DOZENS of times. His pro-life record is as good or better than any of the other viable candidates.

But don't let the facts get in the way of your hysteria.

You're right - we've been over this hundreds of times. The "viable candidate" argument advanced by liberal Republicans no longer holds water. The base has listened to it for two election cycles and it has gotten us a Dole and a what we see today.

Hi, CS ... I guessed I've missed your explanations elsewhere ... and I haven't heard Sen. Allen clarify this.

Does Sen. Allen still support legal abortion up until brain wave activity?

If so, isn't that a bit different from Bush, Frist, McCain, and most other Republican pro-lifers, who (at least in theory) oppose all abortions except for rape, incest, life of mother?
