I was just looking at Allens website for his senate re-election bid, his philosophy on Government is near perfect!! He has an all American family and his wife just has that first lady look to her which complements George's Presidential leadership 'vibe' Any FReepers know more about allen? Is his name being tossed around for 2008?

Jesse Lee Peterson is another. If it wasn't so late I am sure that I would think of others. In fact, we have a great black conservative guy right here in Memphis. Andrew Clark.

One last post:

HOST: Let's talk about what seems to be the biggest concern for America in this year's election, and that's the fight against terrorism. Where do you see the U.S. going in terms of policy here?

KEYES: Well, I think that we must continue the policies that G.W. Bush has pursued. The president has understood that the only way to deal with terrorism is to preempt terrorist attacks. That is, to move against the infrastructure, the training camps, the sources of funds, the state supporters, like Afghanistan and Iraq, to transform the scene, so that it is not longer providing the support for the infrastructure of terror that then results in the terrible kinds of attacks that we say on September 11th.

And I think that this obviously is a policy that require courage and perseverance. It requires an ability to make decisions, not with the wisdom of hindsight, but with the courage of foresight, to as to prevent terrorists from taking American lives.

I fear for the future of the country, quite frankly, if someone like John Kerry, who apparently believes you can appease or negotiate away the threat of terror, if somebody like that is in office, while he's trying to negotiate with these blood-thirsty terrorists, Americans will be dead. And that's not good enough for the safety of our country.

When you say that THe Muslims who already live here permanently aren't terrorists, and the likelihood of them becoming radicalized while here is small are you speaking of this Muhammed Taheri-azar:

Taheri-azar, a U.S. citizen, was born in Iran. His parents, Lily and Latif, were married in Tehran in 1972, but divorced in 2003, records show. Mohammed was the middle child with older and younger sisters. … The upper middle class household wasn't overtly religious, friends said. At South Mecklenburg High School, Taheri-Azar wore polo shirts and khakis, did not drink alcohol, ate fast food and played video games.

...or this one? Hint: it's the same guy.

Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar, 22, is charged with nine counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to cause bodily injury. Police say he drove an SUV through a crowd of students gathered at The Pit. Six people were treated at the hospital for minor injuries. Three others refused treatment at the scene. Derek Poarch, chief of the university's police department, confirmed Saturday that Taheri-azar, a native of Iran, told investigators he wanted to "avenge the deaths or murders of Muslims around the world."

~yawn~

Good grief I can't believe you people stayed here all night! But thanks EVie for posting yet another example of an Alan Keyes flip flop on George Bush.

That said, in the light of a new day I'm thinking that with y'all's track record, maybe it's a good thing that you're not on our side.

Maybe we should just let you keep up your "good work." If you're as successful as you have been in the past, we can start spending our time planning the Inauguration.

You don't have to like George Allen. Like I said, it may be better for us if you don't.

But I won't let you get away with your disinformation campaign.

No 'disinformation' about it. His record and his statements are clear, if you bother to look.

I know you aren't willing to do that, but that's your choice.

But, where candidates stand on issues still matters to some of us.

Anyhow, I'll let you go back to what you were doing:

George Allen believes in abortion up until viability.

That would allow 98% of the abortions that are happening now.

Do you personally support that?

No.

George Allen believes in the U.S. Constitution and the power of the states to determine abortion laws.

I agree with that.

Too bad that George Allen thinks that the God-given, unalienable right to life can be rightfully alienated by any man or group of men...

Too bad that George Allen is pro-abortion.

In anticipation of the arguments that he is pro-life...unfortunately for him, you can't rightly lay claim to being pro-life when you support over a million American children's death to the abortionist's knife per year.

You agree with George Allen that the several states have the right to allow the slaughter of little children. Just lovely.

Do you think the states have the right to end religious speech?

If you want America to survive the War on Terror and to triumph in prosperity and hope, then you have to reelect G. W. Bush. - Ambassador Alan Keyes

Was that before or after he criticized Bush for 9-11 on his ill-fated TV show?

As usual, your obsession with Alan Keyes leads you to miss the fact that the thread is about George Allen.

Do you agree with George Allen's abortion position?
