I was just looking at Allens website for his senate re-election bid, his philosophy on Government is near perfect!! He has an all American family and his wife just has that first lady look to her which complements George's Presidential leadership 'vibe' Any FReepers know more about allen? Is his name being tossed around for 2008?

You do not speak for the religious right.

Gelato speaks for more than you know.

ASSuming you were right (which you aren't) just how many millions of babies would that save?

If saving babies is the goal, the GOP had better find someone other than George Allen.

Bush never proclaimed to be pro-life. Never has. And never once did he have to genuflect to the so-called "religious right" to get their vote.

ROFL...

There is no possible GOP contender out there with a better record on life issues than George Allen. We've documented that over and over and over and over.

What a joke.

I have repeatedly stated that I do NOT know George Allen's views so how can I possibly answer your question?

98% of abortions occur before so-called 'viability'.

Does Senator Allen support abortions up until 'viability' or not?

It's a real simple question.

But all it will take is a percentage who will sit out the election, and the Democrat will win.

Stay home then.

We don't need blackmailed votes.

Your disdain for Christian conservatives always shows through one way or another.

You tell me.

They both voted "yes" on the FY 2006 Budget.

BTW, Thanks for your responsiveness.

Actually that question was to Teresa Heinz Kerry and her answer was as nuanced as the pinhead she's married to.

"Teresa Heinz Kerry calls herself pro-choice, but in June of 2004 she told Barbara Walters that she considers abortion a "dreadful reality."

If all the folks like Gelato 'stay home' at your invitation, the GOP will never win another national election.

Take it to the bank.

Exactly. Pro-lifers WILL stay home.

If the point is to back the most winnable candidate, Allen should be scratched from the list.

Allen's fate will be decided in the primaries.

It won;t be decided here by YOU.

How'd he vote on the largest entitlement benefit increase since Lyndon Johnson's Great Society, the Bush Medicare Prescription Drug Plan?

Did he support it like George Allen?

And BTW, just how many liberal votes do you think that pandering earned the GOP? Just curious...
