Wow! Thanks for that post...I still get misty because I can hear Reagan's voice speaking those words too...And my wife told me a couple of years after she got here that she was scared to death. She wanted to be here in the worst way but was scared about me, how she'd adapt and everything in changing your whole culture. It's just amazing how much I learn by seeing things through her eyes.

A wise man once told me in answer to a question I asked him about how he dealt with the seamier side of folks. "There but for the grace of God go I", between him and Reagan I believe. So many want to take that from me. Thanks for understanding what I am saying. I trust your wife feels safer now. But I do wonder what our immigrants think when they hear these rants.
