MI, the House is not the problem in the GOP - they are the ones who stood up to the Bush Admin and the Senate RINOs. If anything, we need to back them as vigorously as we can - I wouldn't mind a couple of Senate RINOs going down, but if the GOP continues to hold the House, that will thwart the Dems for two more years until we can sort out the RINO mess in DC.

"You clowns"

LOL, funny coming from you. LOL, and oh by the way I have always voted GOP.

Bush senor sealed his fate when he put the knife into the back of Repubs with his "secret" budget deal which broke his "Read my lips" pledge. Only crazies took Ross P seriously. But go ahead an be a blind party before country fool, you are good at it.

I have voted straight Republican ticket since I could vote, so back off. I am making a point, thats all. i may vote for a President or I may just vote for my Congressmen, I am not sure. When the President calls the Minutemen "vigilantes" and those who oppose illegals "anti immigrant", that is a f'n concern to me and he wont get a free pass. When the NRC chairmen says we need less energy by the base when it comes to the illegal immigration issue, that bothers me.The only reason to vote for a Pub Pres is for tax cuts, otherwise it really doesn't matter. The House and the Senate is where we can make the difference.

It's about a Brit Co being bought by a Dubai firm. They make defense parts for us.

Perot was able to rise because of the poor choice ofnpapa Bush. History shows when republicans stay true to conservative values the when, but many republican do not do that.

Perot was a bored billionaire who had lots of time on his hands, so he decided running for President would be neat.

George Bush was president; it was not about "choice", since he was running as an incumbent.

You're one of those "my-way-or-the-highway" conservatives, which means bellyaching has become a way of life for you.

Your inability to see the forest for the trees causes you to go off the deep end and do things like supporting Kinky Friedman for Texas governor.

Here is how I choose who to support in close contests after looking into ALL candidate as deeply as I can. I make up a list of isue I support. I divide that list into 3 sections. The first is worth 3 points, 2nd 2, and 3rd 1. I make a colume for ALL the candidates running. I give the person that most closely reflects my views the points in that catagory. Who ever has the highest score wins my vote.

You don't want to vote for a "RINO", but you vote for a leftist Dem instead?

If I don't vote, it means I didn't vote. Nothing more!

Your argument that not voting is a vote for a DEM is pathetic.

Some folks just will not listen.

When they have there head shoved up a RINO's behind and their ears are full of dung, it does not surprise me.

Repubs control the committee's.

Most don't act like and that's my point. A RINO is a DEM is REP clothing.

But maybe you consider suicide a viable option.

Slow suicide (RINOS) over fast suicide (DEMS)! Sorry, I'll take neither.

You can vote for suicide if you like, I'll hold the moral high ground for you.

The pubbies are never more conservative than when they are in the minority. Once they acheive majority, they scurry back toward the left in pursuit of the PC center.

Nope, FR is a conservative website, not Republican. You need to read the statement that IS top and center on the homepage.

I agree. The House has the most true conservatives.

I'm speaking in generalities. I'll rigorously back any true conservative, but not a RINO.

Luckily, I've got two good conservative congressmen (Kyl and Flake) and only one RINO (McCain). Kyl's up for reelection this year and I'll hit the streets to keep him in office.

Voting 3rd party is sometimes a vote for the Republican. In 2000, the votes that went for Ralph Nader instead of Al Gore elected George W. Bush.

Be sure to sign the petition to put the Green Party candidate on the ballot!

YOU need to read Jim Robinson epistle (posted two days ago) to guys like you! It's ALL about furthering Conservative principles by denying dims power. NO THIRD PARTY will EVER do that. A vote for a third party, is a vote for a dim!

You didn't read Jim's post carefully enough.

Besides, as I posted above, pubbies are never as conservative as when they are in the minority. Having a majority party that's controlled by RINOs is of no real benefit to the nation.
