Ordnance Marines from Marine Attack Squadron 513 load a 500-pound, general-purpose bomb on to an AV-8B Harrier April 3, at Al Asad, Iraq. The bomb is equipped with the Joint Direct Attack Munitions which will turn a regular bomb into a global positioning satellite guided munition.

Staring down the barrel of his .50-caliber machine gun, Cpl. Clayton J. Bryan scans the streets of Baghdadi while on perimeter security during an engineering operation April 5. Bryan is an aircraft rescue and firefighting specialist, who is attached to the Incident Response Platoon of Marine Wing Support Squadron 274, Marine Wing Support Group 37 (Reinforced), 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing. The mission of the IRP is to provide security in support of response and pre-planned missions throughout the Al Anbar Province.
