The world is going to whine regardless of what we do or don't do...nuke 9-10 of their largest cities and all of their nuclear sites...problem solved...move on.
Umm, right. Are you prepared to be the scourge of the world for the next 100 years? All nations will cut off economic trade with the U.S. and we probably would be attacked by another nuclear state, like China or Russia.
Not to mention, a nuclear strike would destroy all evidence of a nuclear program. No, hitting another country with nuclear weapons should be the very, VERY last resort.
