Why is Sen. Majority Frist commenting on the House bill?
Frist leads the legislative chamber which has NOT passed legislation concerning illegal immigration. He should therefore stick to Senate business.
The House completed their bill, and should have those capable of speaking about the bill, how it came to include the felony clauses(s).

Hmmm, there aren't enough Republicans to give us a real immigration reform bill, what should I do in November? Hmmmm...
I know--I'll stay at home so more Democrats will get into the Senate! Yeah! That'll solve the problem! /so

Have you noticed that all Dems have to qualify their statements as posted in this article. I notice that Colmes on H&C always qualifies his remarks with a BUT or HOWEVER

Quite a few Republican Congressmen voted with the Dims on this and are now beating their chests about how how tough they are on illegal immigration. What shall we do with these dupes and traitors?

So Frist gives credit for the only responsible part of the bill to Democrats. This clown will never get my vote for anything...

on December 16, 2005, there were 191 House Democrats who voted to oppose House Republican efforts to reduce the crime of unlawful presence in the United States from a felony to a misdemeanor. Instead, they voted to make felons out of all of those who remain in our country illegally. I thought the Democrats opposed this because they wanted to stop a border wall from being built, and their counter to the wall was to make illegals a felony. It seems that that original line of thinking is getting lost.

Sure. The dems are embarassing scum trying to play this for political advantage in November. (This is new?) But the Republican voters are the ones who are going to give them a victory.
Not one--not ONE--of the "Throw them out in November!"--FReepers has given a serious answer to what they think will happen after they allow the Dems to get in in November.
I guess tax cuts, the WOT, judges and the fact in my tagline don't mean squat, they prefer to believe the media spin on this. Fools. Savage!-listening fools.

Confront them, call them (emailing is useless) and support republican opponents to their nomination.
That's too much work for the SAVAGE!Weiners among us. They'd rather bitch, and then stay home in November, and preen like they're making some kind of statement. Their actual statement being "I am so angry at the Republicans handling immigration that I am turning over power to...the Democrats! yeah, that'll show 'em!"

Wasn't it the republicans who put the felony provision into the bill in the first place?

We must show compassion for MS-13 and MS-18 for the narco terrorists, the Chi Coms, Al Qaida, the rapists, the child abductors, the pedophile sexual predators, the so called agricultural workers spreading Mexican 'Red Meth' to the high school kids of America's heartland,to the home invasion specialists, and the murderers who just do it for the fun of killing Americans in their own homes...
Compassion for thugs by holding the behind their backs the arms of those you are sworn to protect to make it easier on the thugs...
Bye Bye Miss American Pie
