(shudder) Very glad I live in Colorado. No pythons here!

The snakes, which are native to Southeast Asia, can be purchased legally in the United States.
That's the problem right there. Foreign species which can thrive in the wild in the US shouldn't be available for sale to the general public.

Two step program:
1) Catch 'em
2) Put 'em on a plane
The situation will work itself out in under 2 hours.

These are just undocumented pythons. They should have a rally and intimidate the Park service into letting them stay.

Sounds like when the feminists were trying to eradicate the one-eyed trouser snake. :-)

Put them on a plane and send Samuel L. Jackson after them!

I know people who like to hunt. If Florida would issue snake licenses I'll bet they would have takers. I personally love to kill snakes but I don't think I want to tackle a 12 ft python with razor sharp teeth.

You could get a lot of cowboy boots out of a 12' python. :-)

Correct item #2 should read MAKE BELT'S.

Exactly, Florida could make a little money on licenses, the boot maker would make a few pairs of boots and the hunter would have a hunt to remember. That's a win win win!

Foreign species which can thrive in the wild in the US shouldn't be available for sale to the general public. The DNC thanks you for your support of statism. What kind of stupid argument is this?
DANGEROUS wild animals that can thrive in the US probably shouldn't be sold (like pirhanas, but what about alpacas, llamas, guinea pigs (S. America), hamsters (Syrian natives), gerbils (Asia), and other assorted animals? You think we should ban all foreign pet fish too?
Current list of banned pets
Adder or viper
Alligator
African Buffalo
Cheetah
Clouded leopard
Cobra
Crocodile
Elephant
Gila monster
Hippopotamus
Honey badger
Hyena
Lion, jaguar, leopard or tiger
Non-human primates
Rhinoceros
Wolverine
