Don't have a Ping list per se... Feel free to start one though. ;-)
Looks like the website is up and running. Still may be a bug or two for IE users and some of the text.

Yeah... Lars seems to want to send a "virtual" brick. He either is copying part of our idea, or great minds think somewhat alike.
Sending a REAL brick is a lot less "ignorable". Even if they never make it past the mail room, enough bricks showing up WILL catch their attention.

This is an excellent idea. For all of us working Americans who can't spend a bunch of time marching...and protesting, this is a great way to let the silent majority be heard.

Late afternoon bump. People are already starting to send out their bricks. Apparently, USPS red priority pre-paid shipping boxes from the post office work good. The envelopes work too, but you may need additional wrapping to prevent it from tearing open during shippment.
Average costs reported so far are between $4 on up to $12 depending on size of brick and choice of postage. Priority is supposedly the best way to ensure it gets there.

Instead of taking bricks to Washington, why couldn't citizens start heading down to the border and start building the wall ourselves? A convoy of dump trucks heading south would be sure to get some attention!

Should have propagated throughout all the DNS servers by now. They should be able to get there even in Australia. Supposedly, they registered www.sendabrick.com/.net/.org and www.send-a-brick.com/.net/.org.
Page has over 14k views in just the last day or so, been linked to by about a half dozen radio talk show hosts.
Official press release going out from our volunteer press manager on Monday.
There is no one "group" behind this. Someone on ARFCOM joked that we should start sending cinder blocks to Congress as a start to getting a wall built. It took on a life of its own from there.
Gotta love REAL grass roots activism. ;-)

You can buy shrink-wrap at any office store; Tape your letter to your brick, stretch the shrink wrap over it and then shrink it with a hairdryer. Voila.

Because the beauty of this is that regular people with jobs and commitments can do it, unlike protesting in the streets that only irresponsible students and illegals can do.

The site is looking good! I'm emailing the link and the Send-a-Brick pic to all my contacts.
My bricks will be in the mail next week.

How about just pictures of bricks so this way they can't "redirect" the letter (vs a physical object)
Say some thing simple like "BUILD A REAL BORDER WALL!"

Thought of that. Just like sending a straight up letter or fax, easily ignored. Include a letter with the brick. Even if all it says is "build the wall". Priority mail/letters have to go through to the addressee. Bulk mail and other stuff can be shunted aside.
Best to just send the brick with a brief letter reminding them to DO THEIR JOB.
