For the most part, Monday's immigration march and rally was peaceful, but when a counter-protest group began burning Mexican flags, things got out of hand.
Tucson police made several arrests when protestors began throwing bottles and water at members of the Border Guardians group.
Officers say several protestors began to interfere with the arrests and started assaulting them.
Two officers received minor injuries when they were punched in the face.
Police had to use pepper spray to control the crowd.
Tucson Capt. Brett Klein says, It appears that all of the actions of the officers were justified in the sense that there was probable cause to make arrest, and they were certainly encountering force at the time that they chose to use force.
One News 4 photographer was injured when he got pepper spray in his eyes. He was treated and is doing fine this morning.
A total of six people were arrested, including three juveniles. They face numerous charges including aggravated assault on a peace officer, interfering with an arrest, and disorderly conduct.
There is only one flag that should be shown here and it has stars and stripes on it, not a FRIGGIN buzzard in the middle.
Just showing that speech is free as long as you agree with me mindset of the Democrats.
heads up
Thanks.

KVOA Channel 13 (CBS) out of Tucson was gleefully reporting that the Border Guardian group had been 'convicted by video tape' of burning the Mexican Flag. No mention of the peaceful protesters assaulting police officers.
Lou Dobbs showed the burning of the Mexican flag. There were plenty police officers who watched the burning. I didn't see any violence and it wasn't reported at the time of the burning.
I see nothing wrong with the burning of the Mexican flag if those Americans want to express their disapproval of the mob mentality that way. My Blood pressure went up watching the mobs on TV, so I was glad to see the burning.
Burning that Mexican buzzard flag is 100% legal -THE SUPREME COURT SAID SO.
Interesting the station felt the need to emphasize the "otherwise peaceful" aspect. I wonder if their 9/11 stories said, "3 Planes Crashed Into Buildings in Otherwise Peaceful Flights".
Just don't burn the one that President Bush waves. That might be considered *disrespectful.*
