The "people" have already spoken. Not the American citizens but the mob that the sniveling, spineless legislators fear and obey.

Bingo.

In Spain, they listen and obey when the criminals blow up a train station.

In France, they listen and obey when the criminals set some cars on fire.

In America, they listen and obey when the criminals mill in the streets and say "we demand that you obey us!"

We have relinquished the right to scold the Europeans for caving to the terrorists. THEY can now laugh at US. We have given up the high moral ground, in exchange for cheep lay-bor.

We have made ourselves into the contemptible laughingstock of the world.

Why the hell are we Americans not taking a few days off, even at the risk of loosing our job, to have an ARMED march on Washington! Not with the intent of doing violence, but as a show of outrage over this issue! Everyone knows amnesty will be the literal death of this country and we are all sitting around saying "woe is me". This sure as hell isn't the way our ancestors of even 75 years ago would have dealt with this. I keep trying to remember why the founders put the second amendment in the constitution.

You get what you pay for. The work these illegals do is generally not skilled or craftsman-like. It is merely day labor. One of the reasons they "...work so hard..." is because their work is so poor they have to do it over 2 or 3 times.

I know a drywall contractor that had to pay his anglo workers to re-do the work done by his latino workers, because their work was crap. He eventually went out of business because he couldn't compete with the cheap labor and do good work.

A bunch of them (day laborers) did the drywall in our new house 3 years ago, and if I hadn't had my brother-in-law who is a drywaller come through and yell at them in spanish to quit using nails and use more screws, we'd be having the same "popout" nail problems all our neighbors are having.

And don't get me started about the lousy job they did on putting the rolled river rock on our house. "Put the rocks closer together", I said. "Oh no senor, de boss say make them dees far apart" he replied. We came by in the night and ripped them off the house, and they had to re-do them 3 times--and it's still not right. Cheap Ba$tard contractor....
