Two quick points:
The vast majority of folks who would drink and then drive monitor their intake very closely in drinks/hour so as to not become drunk. Everyone who smokes marijuana does so with the intent of getting high. This article is biased toward the drinking=impaired driving to bolster potheads belief that they can do no wrong.
Secondly, ANYONE who smokes marijuana has already proven their judgement is severly impaired. Bluntly put, they are willing to break the law to get high, impared judgement is likely an understatement.
unfortunately, you forgot the statistics on how much people dies in a alcool involved accident...not everyone does smoke on the intent of smoking high...you are just reporting what you heard on television...A university study wouldn't be so biaised with such a stereotype of alcool = impaired like you said...their goal is not to say that people who uses pot are harmless! you are being speculative...
and your second point is only a personnal opinion biaised what you think you already know about pot... did rosa park was so "judgement-impaired" when she sat at the front of the bus and broke the law??
laws were made, but some under false intention, or without any study...
So, high is a binary thing, you're either high or not, but you see alcohol use as a matter of degree, as in you can drink but not be drunk.
That's simply not the case. Take a few hits, catch a minor buzz, smoke 12 bong hits and, yes, you're high. Have a drink or 2, catch a minor buzz. Drink 12 drinks, drunk you are. It's the same for weed and booze. There are degrees for each.
If you get behind the wheel after a few drinks, the chances are you are impaired. It doesn't take much to blow .04, and then you're arrested for DUI.
But please, enjoy your binary planet.

another study i guess that was biaised to convice people pot smokers are harmless?
Kinda like Rosa Parks sitting in the front of the bus when she damn well knew where she should sit.
Secondly, ANYONE who drives too fast has already proven their judgement is severly impaired. Bluntly put, they are willing to break the law to get somewhere faster, impared judgement is likely an understatement.
Fixed it for you mommy
Now the question comes up...hmm which will give me a buzz while not harming me as much physically - and the answer is CLEARLY pot.
So, I would think anyone who consumes something as harmful and dangerous as alcohol - when a safer, less inebriating substitute is available shows "impaired judgement" to me.
I would also think anyone who then abuses their body with alcohol because the government says the substitue is "bad", is both brainwashed and ball-less - sucking up the propaganda while trumpeting their own hypocritical self-righteousness - all while sucking down a beer.
