The leftists and democrats are the ones that generated the massive rallies on the basis that the House bill would make illegals and those that aided them felons and it was the democrats that put the amendment into the bill and voted overwhelmingly to make sure that it stayed there.
you wouldnt happen to have a link for that vote would you? I'd heard that was what happened, but I don't want to use it in argument unless I have proof, ya know? (that would be a liberal thing to do!) =P
