"The problem is that too many FReepers refuse to look at the immigration issue in a reasonable, thoughtful manner. They refuse to take into account the economic impact that displacing a workforce will cause. They also refuse acknowledge that by harping on illegal immigration, they're helping to undo gains among Hispanics that the GOP has made."

You solved your own case when you said "ILLEGAL immigrants".

The leftist politicians want amnesty for them to continue filling the tax coffers so they can continue their endless summer of spending.

The leftist politicians want this to show appeasement to the illegals to gain more votes (pandering).

The leftist politicians should be charged with aiding and abetting criminal activity and punished thusly.

Immigration is fine when approached as prescribed by law, but when the first act you achieve on American soil is a crime (illegal entry), we do not want to invite you into our society.

Where has common sense and logical thought gone!!!???

I don't know that it is a good argument to say that something is capitalized "WRONG" just because it is against the law. It is also against the law to smoke in a bowling alley, or to smoke most things that aren't tobacco, or to drive without a seat belt, along with any number of less malevolent things. :)

LOL, note that the bowling alley smoking is only illegal in certain states (Thankfully not here in TN!)
