I haven't been disagreeing with you at all, I been pointing out my point of view.

I will never be ashamed that I voted for Perot, Twice.

I liked his ideas more then the man and I like how Newt used what Perot had given him to win with, but we should never forget how we got that win because I think the democrats might use that tactic against us this time around or the next.

They fed off discontent.

Well when you've start a post saying "I disagree....," you're disagreeing with what I've said. We're merely arriving at the same end from different directions.

I will never be ashamed that I voted for Perot, Twice.

I'm not ashamed to admit I voted for Dole. I voted for Bush in 1992 because Perot dropped out of the race, even though he was the front runner in the polls. Later to jump back in, but by that time, his candidacy was weakened. Perot alleged that Bush operatives had threatened to besmirch the reputation of his family by disseminating a fake, computer-generated photograph of his daughter and even disrupting her wedding. That charge was characterized later as false, because evidence of such a photograph didn't even exist. Perot was widely derided as "kooky" and "delusional," those labels stuck, to the point where the Perot-as-lunatic storyline is now accepted history.
