Sorry, but Bush needs to lead here against amnesty. That would shift the filibuster to the Dems, not the GOP. As it is now, the conservative Senators have to hold the line against RINOs and Democrats on amnesty precisely because Bush is pro-amnesty.
And, once again, impeachments start in the House. If Bush doesn't want to be impeached by a Dem majority in 2007, he'd better stand with the GOP House members on immigration.
