I sincerely doubt there are many Republicans seeing these "hordes" as voters. Democrats yes. Obviously, they're salivating over 11 million plus potential Democrat constituents. Kennedy, et al, are in the catsbird seat on this issue. It's a no win situation for the Republicans. We'll be lucky to survive with our skins intact.

I've wondered if the "potential voter" thing wasn't part of McCain's motivation. After all, he is from Arizona, where its rapidly reaching critical mass.
