I'm sorry but someone, such as yourself, who hangs around the Free Republic board preaching the Socialist dogma about how the US is "

In truth, we are a democratic oligarchy. We are ruled by an elite class of (mostly wealthy) career politicians. This is not what was envisioned by our founders but it is most definitely what we have become."

Isn't really isn't a Conservative at all. Don't think your opinion on this issue really matters since you clearly have no interested in limited Govt or the Free market. You simply resent the fact that the Govt is not to impose what you cannot win at the polls.

Do you know it takes MORE energy to produce ethanol or "green fuels" then is produces when you burn them?

No it doesn't. You have just actually posted propaganda from the enviro-nazis. The only people that are still saying that are those who want us to get rid of cars.

For the most part, even the oil companies have given up on that old saw...which hasn't been factual for years.

Why waste your votes on the Constitution Party? Go out and get involved in the primaries. That's the most productive thing that you can do.

When you put conservatives on the ballot, their odds of winning are pretty good.

So fool or traitor? It what you the result would be to follow what you are advocating.

As any real Conservative knows, actions have consequences. Conservatives don't hoist the white flag and run away because things are tough. That ALL you are advocating. Rationalize it, dress it up, spin it, the only outcome your actions have is to elect Democrats.

That makes you Howie Dean's Patsy or Howie Dean's Ally. Which is it?

"Maybe you feel like a fool because you are one, for expecting Bush to be Torquemada. It's what people like you do."

Well, I don't know who Torquemada is, but I am sure a dork like you does; so I won't try to defend myself on that one. However, it's people "like me" that continually wakes the party back up to return it to its roots so that simple, stupid folks like you can enjoy a conservative, Republican party without knowing why it is that way after all of these years. But, your too stupid to even understand what I just wrote, so your friends can thank me if they want to.

How can you wake up a political party when you cringe in front of your wife because Bush didn't do everything you wanted him to do?

You better go back to ridin' bulls, because I ain't buyin' the bull you're slingin' here.

"Conservatives don't hoist the white flag and run away because things are tough."

If you think about it your the one who is surrendering to liberals. You vote for liberals who claim to be on your side, then sit back and support them just because they picked your arbitrary party to be in. Sometimes you have to know when to fight and when to let your opponent win, but to live and fight another day. During the Revolutionary War General Washington and Contintential congress didn't sue for peace because the British took New York, and they didn't accept some kind of limited autonomy to spare New York and Boston. They retreated, survived and attacked again.

I am not wasting any more time trying to pry open your mind. If you are what you claim to be, your complaint is nuked by a single set of facts.

Judicial Appointments. 1 seat from Controlling the US Supreme Court for the 1st time since since the 1930s.

Chief Justice Roberts, Asso Justice Alito, Judges Luttig, Pickering and Brown. etc etc etc.

So like I pointed out. This hissy fit is nothing more them the latest 100%er temper tantrum. Nothing in life is perfect. Only children and fools think it can be.

Good job rodeocowboy. The Bushies, i.e. the Harriet Miers storm troopers, are the 5 percenters, only they just don't get it yet. You should see what folks like Laura Ingraham, Hannity, and Mark Levin have to put up with from these idiots, much less what you should see I get for quips as "Bush Lied, Beans Fried". But Hey! Actually, a good one from me again in regards to the politicians, the government and Bush Administration lies about the true numbers of illegal aliens - Bush Lied, Beans Fried. And judging from the reaction of the 5 percenter Bushies, it seems to cause the faithful (and so expected) reaction desired, for which the Bushies will manage to alienate even more grass roots against the Viva Bushies and the laughable Harriet Miers storm troopers marching into oblivion. So now that this quip passing the mustard, it seems good enough to pass along to Michael Savage, he has used so many of these collaborator snippets again and again, though not to play my own fiddle. Give it a few days, and likely it will be on the lips of many and capacious over the airwaves of America. Even I don't exactly have a "loving relationship" with Savage since no one can agree with another on everything, but still we have been communicating for years, and I think he's going to like this one.

Squeal all you want. The facts don't change just cause you scream louder and longer. Your actions are those of a Howie Deaniac. Knowingly or unwittingly, those are the consequences of your actions.

"Well, I don't know who Torquemada is..."

Torquemada WAS an infamous torturer of the Spanish Inquisition. He did not use "the comfy chair".

You are very very close to trolldom, if not there already. Tread carefully in the disrespect you show those of us who have been here far longer than you have and have an actual record of supporting conservative causes to prove our genuineness and sincerity. You are so eager to hammer the wedge that I am of the mind that your purpose for being here is exactly what you accuse others of being.

"Mr. Corsi is the author of several books, including "Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry" (along with John O'Neill)"

SwiftVets.com :: View topic - **** Swifts' ~ Transcripts from TV, radio & audio

BLITZER: John O'Neill, I want you to respond. Over the past 24, 48 hours, there have been some serious questions raised about your co- author, Jerry Corsi. They have discovered some comments he's written on various Web sites which appear to be anti-Muslim, anti-Jewish, anti-Catholic. I could read some of them, but we don't have a whole lot of time.

I wonder if you want to disassociate yourself from what he has written.

O'NEILL: Oh, absolutely.

Jerry Corsi acted as sort of an editor of our book. And so instead of attacking the facts of the book with all these people who were in Vietnam with John Kerry, 60 of them, the attack is now on this guy who is an editor. His remarks were inappropriate. He shouldn't have made them. He's a devout Catholic, as a matter of fact. But Jerry Corsi was not in Vietnam, doesn't claim to be. He simply helped us in editing the book.

The 60 people who were with Kerry in Vietnam, this is their book.

BLITZER: All right, but he's listed as the co-author of the book, isn't he?

O'NEILL: He is. And he performed in the same way as Douglas Brinkley or anybody else a function in editing, in -- particularly in the second half of the book, in historical research, because he had done a great deal of research on the anti-war movement, the Vietnam Veterans Against the War, but not in the Vietnam section of the book.

Corsi's "research" was largely borrowed from posters at FR.

You are fast becoming the most arrogant and annoying poster on this forum. Anyone that doesn't agree with whatever might be YOUR position, is immediately bombarded with a barrage of insults and accusations.. In fact, you don't even allow anyone to respond to a thread without prequalifying them as "fools, traitors", or some derogatory name unless they agree with you.

Name calling, insults and bullying a thread is NOT intelligent discourse. I have never made a personal comment towards a poster before, but in your case I really must make an exception, and say that your version of sensible and decent discourse is nothing more than ranting and not the voice of a reasonable conservative.
