Talk about framing the debate! How about "fair or unfair," as in it would be unfair to the millions of current and aspiring legal immigrants to grant amnesty to these illegals.
I watched a bit of this on the news, and the word "illegal" was rare to see or hear, and even "undocumented" wasn't used that often, and that's not just by the guy they were interviewing, but by the talking head at the studio. There was text on the screen "11-13 million immigrants in the country," conspicuously leaving out the "illegal" part. The first thing I thought when I saw it was that I'm sure there are far more than 11 million immigrants in this country.
They are purposely trying to muddy the waters here. Be very careful. Use the word "illegal" as much as you can.

Border Patrol agent arrested in smuggling case

ESCONDIDO ---- Federal agents arrested a Border Patrol agent Thursday in Escondido who is suspected of being an illegal immigrant who was smuggling other illegal immigrants into the United States.
