I call it a 'covert invasion'. I wonder how complicit the Mexican gov. is in all of this.

If the Chinese or Iranians were doing the same thing, no one would have a problem recognizing this as an invasion. Many here, however such as those that work in real estate have a soft spot for the illegals since they help line their pockets at the expense of everyone else in the country.

You don't know crap pal. Nada. It has not one dang thing to do with surrender. It has to do with common sense. Something you apparently have been lacking in. Like I said, if you think you can deport 15 million people, basically the size of a city like New York, let's here you plan. Who will accomplish it? How may troops do you figure will it take to do this, 45, 55 MILLION???? It is not going to happen. You can hit Kmart for the common sense if you can find it.

I assume that your retired from the French army as you're so eager to surrender.

We don't have to physically deport 15 million - we just have to make the conditions here intolerable so they self-deport. All we have to do is cut off all social services to illegals and crackdown on employers of illegals with prison time.

A wall would be a good step as well. Unfortunately, Bush would veto any plan (or refuse to allow ICE or the IRS to enforce it) that included these three items.

It has nothing to do with sounding like anyone. I DON'T LIKE THE ILLEGALS HERE EITHER!!! But, I also look at it with just a little common sense. HOW do you DEPORT 15 MILLION people, of which 15 MILLLION are not wanting to go? This country cannot keep drugs out, how in the heck do you think you round up 15 MILLION people, when you don't even who WHO the 15 million are? Going to knock on doors are you? Tell me HOW it is going to be accomplished? HOW? If you have the plan, let's here it. I am all for it if you have a WORKING plan. One that will ACCOMPLISH the mission. Not just WORDS.

It's pretty much common sense that the posters on these threads are not talking about large scale roundups. These rallies would be a nice start however.

The plans discussed are to remove the reasons for being here and building a wall to keep any more from coming over.

WE are allowing it to happen. I don't mean to sound negative, but something needs to be done to get the house back in order - something on a scale unlike we have ever seen.

The biggest problem comes from president Bush. There is no way any positive immigration reform will ever get past his desk.

The self-serving Republicans in the Senate are a huge problem as well. The answer is to pretty much reboot the senate.
