I was watching/listening to Spero on C-Span this morning and she seemed to be content with the status quo. She needs to get a up-close and personal perspective of what she thinks she's talking about.

I was arguing with a friend last night, about this very situation. He was saying senators and congress people should not care about the throngs of illegals protesting in the streets cause they were illegal and can't vote anyway. I explained there is no ID required here to register to vote ,or when you show up and vote! So whats to stop all these illegals from voting anyway? NOTHING!.........Many of us here in Southern California believe that how Bob Dornan lost his seat in Congress to that creep Loretta Sanchez!

This morning I heard on the radio a soundbite by a Mexican immigrant, "We didn't cross the border, the border crossed us, and this is OUR land."

So, following this idiot's logic, there has been no immigration from the south lately. They've all been here for centuries.

I went to Lowes last week. They were remodeling and apologized for any inconvenience I might suffer. The "remodeling" consisted of making all signs, product info, and price tags bi-lingual. English and Spanish! I asked one of the workers why the he!! they were doing that, and he wouldn't even respond! Company policy?

I'll bet the Democrats aren't telling the immigrants how they consistently oppose qualified Hispanics nominated by President Bush to be judges. Or that the only Congressman born in Cuba is Republican U.S. Senator Mel Martinez (FL). Or that former Democrat Attorney General Janet Reno sent the boy Elian Gonzalez back to Cuba.

Agreed, but she's really just caretaking the position until the new commissioner gets confirmed. There's not alot she can do policy-wise at this point.

Hopefully the new guy will be a kick-butt law enforcement type. We've reorganized, we've trained, we've got it somewhat together as an agency. Now lets go out there and GET SOME!!!

The scary thing is that the leftists are in bed with the illegals. The even more scary thing is that we are facing so much trouble just even suggesting that we enforce our own laws that have been around forever.

I hope that I am wrong, but I really do feel that we have passed the breaking point in this country. I do not see a very peaceful future at all. And I lay the blame entirely on the moonbat left and the ninety-nine percent of all politicians (from both parties) who have fueled, ignored, encouraged, enabled, and/or promoted all of this. They are the lowest of the low. Get ready for hard times, because it appears that the fuse on this powder keg is getting shorter and shorter.

For the same reasons why a vast majority of black people still vote scumocrat. Because the scumocrats bombard them with propaganda about how republicans are evil and will eat their flesh, and how they, the scumocrats, are the ones really looking out for them. And because the republicans are just too stupid and incompetent to do anything meaningful to counteract this.

Although, semantics and talking points aside, since the republican and scumocrat parties are starting to look more and more the same on just about every issue it may be a moot point.

The thought crossed my mind that, if amnesty is allowed (again) the Army recruiters should be next in line to take their pick of the 18 to 30 year olds. If they want to become citizens, let them do what our ancestors did for this country.

As a matter of fact I'm in another town. I was wondering about the district in 2 towns. He's in the Town of Oyster Bay and I'm in The Town of Hempstead.
