When the Minutemen set up shop at the Arizona border last year to call attention to the illegal alien loophole in US Homeland Security, President Bush foolishly chided these brave patriots by calling them vigilantes. Although chagrined at being deserted by the man who has the constitutional responsibility and authority to defend our borders, the Minutemen dug in their heels and persisted. And persisted.
Their Yankee determination to do the right thing was rewarded when President Bush finally sent additional border patrol agents to Arizona. Even the Mexican government was motivated to pay greater attention, at least temporarily, because of the due diligence of heroic Minutemen.
Before the Minuteman took their courageous stand, open border advocates and anti-American liberals insisted it was impossible to stop illegal immigration. Best to just accept reality, learn Spanish, and switch to rice and beans as food stables, according to the leftists and Hispanic racists.
Thank God, the Minutemen PROVED illegal aliens CAN be stopped, thereby delivering a great victory on behalf of all American citizens.

"I've seen the actual transcript. I've heard the sound bytes. Clearly, the question was about the Minuteman Project which was the BIG NEWS that week. The President was clearly responding to the question about the Minuteman Project by saying that they were vigilantes. Only the most obtuse can't seem to understand that. No, the words "Minuteman Project" were never used. But, then again, every amnesty bill, past and present, in Congress has never used the term "amnesty". Get a clue."
Yes, true intellectual dishonesty to say or imply anything else.
yea yea .. whatever
Whatever is for 13 year olds. You're not honest.
Oh sure .. you keep telling yourself that
illegal alien slave-traitors bump
Thank you for your irrelevancy to this subject.
Not his again. It was clear who he was talking about.
Why even try to argue this point? Bush has repeatedly shown us that he is very much against the idea of reigning in illegal immigration. His solution to solve illegal immigration is to just make it legal.
I've already explained it in my posts
"He was talking about the trouble makers like those from Storm front who were trying to get involved with the Minutemen project when it first started up
In fact .. once the Minutemen learned what they were trying to do .. they distanced themselves from Storm front group because they didn't want any trouble"
Is that you, Podesta?
Are you trying to say I was wrong and the Minutemen DIDN'T distance themself away from groups like Stormfront?
Yes, there are about 6 or 7 posters that take almost a seminar approach to taking the illegal immigration threads off on silly tangents.
One bizarre strategy I've seen is where a pro-illegal poster will say something totally devoid of truth and then when called on it, he claims he agrees and that you were the one that said it in the first place.
Another tactic is to say that your against illegal immigration but then shoot down every specific idea to reign it in. It's a page out of IBM's old FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt) sales strategies.
Another strategy is to pick on very specific point (for example did Bush call Minutemen vigilantes, was the Berlin wall effective, etc) and be super stubborn on arguing very obvious points. It takes the thread off topic and usually into a shouting match.
The other category is when the Bushbots come in and try to say that the republicans aren't to blame and we're all just being manipulated by the mainstream media.
You not only said you were done posting to THIS specific thread, but to similar threads. Why are you still posting?
See this is a classic example of the tactic of taking the thread off topic that I mentioned earlier.
Why do you care
And expecting us to produce USDA #1 beef and milk at the same time. Frankly I'm tired of the other biproduct,BS.
I don't care about the redirection from the original lie you spouted: President Bush did indeed smear the Minutemen as 'vigilantes'. You are living in a fantasy world.
That's nice .. but you didn't answer my question
Juveniles.
For the life of me, I don't care if I never read another worthless post of yours so long as I live!
You're still posting.
