If Minutemen Are Vigilantes, What Do You Call 500,000 Illegal Aliens Demanding Rights?

When the Minutemen set up shop at the Arizona border last year to call attention to the illegal alien loophole in US Homeland Security, President Bush foolishly chided these brave patriots by calling them vigilantes. Although chagrined at being deserted by the man who has the constitutional responsibility and authority to defend our borders, the Minutemen dug in their heels and persisted. And persisted.

Their Yankee determination to do the right thing was rewarded when President Bush finally sent additional border patrol agents to Arizona. Even the Mexican government was motivated to pay greater attention, at least temporarily, because of the due diligence of heroic Minutemen.

Before the Minuteman took their courageous stand, open border advocates and anti-American liberals insisted it was “impossible” to stop illegal immigration. Best to just accept reality, learn Spanish, and switch to rice and beans as food stables, according to the leftists and Hispanic racists.

Thank God, the Minutemen PROVED illegal aliens CAN be stopped, thereby delivering a great victory on behalf of all American citizens.

I asked a certain celeberity on his very own thread earlier about his membership in a certain organization known as CFR. Last time I checked, he hadn't answered me yet. Just checked, no answer yet.

To ask that question seems to be a no-no. Asking it too forcefully can get you suspended.

Thank you for your polite and reasoned response.

I am glad that you better understand things now.

The illegals don't care what happens to American citizens, they are here to take over our country.

We have been invaded illegally and our politicians have aided and abetted the illegal invasion, in spite of the fact that they are sworn to defend our country.

In the end it will be up to "We the People" to do something about it ourselves.

Citizens patrolling the border is a good first step.

But you're back in top form - in response to valid criticism of the over-the-top attempts to defend Bush, you respond by saying we must just want him impeached.

You've really deployed some fascinating varients of the reductio ad absurdum technique today. Although I wouldn't take that as a compliment.

Oh, and to elaborate further, there is one thing that will prevent the Dems from impeaching Bush in 2007 - namely, the GOP has to hold onto the House in 2006.

And what do you see the GOP House members doing? Listening to the base instead of Bush and not passing a bill with amnesty. Instead, they passed a border and internal security bill.

So if you're REALLY concerned with Bush not getting impeached, back the House GOP's stance. After all, they are up for re-election this year and Bush isn't.

Criticizing the president, or any elected official, to the degree in which he deserves criticism, on any of his policies, actions, behavior, is PATRIOTIC.

Criticizing the president, or any elected official, to the degree in which the criticism is earned, does not mean those criticizing are TROLLS, DU'ers, or traitors.

Read what President Roosevelt, a Republican President said about the duties of citizens toward their elected officials.

Some people won't get it until their own "ox" get gored.

They will understand when their own job that is taken by an illegal for 1/3 the money they were making becomes "a job Americans won't do".

But by then it will be too late.
