OK, the person who must buy health insurance but doesn't is faced with fines topping $1,000. So, how does the person not able to afford the insurance pay the fine?

If you can't pay the fine, do you go to jail? Are they going to fill up their jails with the medically uninsured?

Madness...This is absolute madness.

Are they going to bring back debtors prisons for those who don't pay for insurance?

Here in California the best health insurance is offered by the state corrections department for the prisoners. Prisoners actual get better coverage than the guards watching them. An inmate on death row got a heart transplant.
