Secure the borders, tighten up employer hiring practices, and work out a way for at least some of those who are already here to qualify for citizenship somewhere down the road.

It's reality. We can't be invaded by so many uneducated, unskilled people without bringing down the standard of living for everyone. The typical illegal doesn't even have a high school education. Our schools are having to educate all the children of illegals that can't even speak English and get very little support at home to do well in school. This brings down the standard in our schools. Between the two, we are in a downward spiral. Need proof? Look at the international test scores and see where we are. To save time, start at the bottom because we'll be close to last.
