Jesus entrusted His Church to Peter. That is the Catholic Church, which can be historically traced to Peter.

You never once mentioned whether or not you had any relationship with Jesus, at all.

Without that, it doesn't matter what church you attend.

BTW, there is plenty of Bible literacy in the Catholic Church. That you weren't exposed to it is the fault of some in the Church.
