From what I've read about it this morning, the symptoms can be very mild, or not. She has almost no strength in her legs right now, but I am not sure whether that's GBS or post-op. Her spirits are up, though.
And we have had several reports from people we know who knew people who had this, but they've recovered. There may be some long-term mild weakness, though.
