That is most excellent. Yay!
There's even more good news, but it's quite out of scope here. Things are definitely positive!!!
Please post your replies to sionnsar

Great News Buddy
Wonderful news!
Cane is gone; she gets by fine without it. And now she is able to carry things up and down the stairs.
Physical therapy continues, and she's not able to walk long distances, but the improvement is tremendous!
Oh, and she's back on the church organ bench as of a week ago.
So glad to hear that! She has remained in my prayers.
Most excellent!
Now the circle is closing. She got a call from a friend this afternoon; a member of her firend's church has been diagnosed with Guillaume-Barre Syndrome (GBS), and her friend asked if LibreOuMort ("Mrs. Sionnsar") would counsel the family as to the road ahead.
It won't be easy for them; the husband and breadwinner is the one diagnosed and in the hospital. Fortunately this is one of the Seattle hospitals knowledgeable about GBS and so he should receive good treatment. And their church has come around to uphold and support his wife and seven children.
But LoM can give them hope with some authority -- as she says, last April she wasn't even able to walk or stand but look at her now. I don't know the particulars, but it sounds like this might be an even earlier detection of GBS than LoM's, which was exceptionally early.
She is planning to visit the family in the next day or two (they're less than an hour's drive away).
So now her trial becomes a blessing for others. (We've been here before; this is a blessing to us.)
Thank you all for your prayers. And I bid your prayers for this man and his family.
Prayers...and may it turn out as well for this family as it did for Mrs. Sionnsar and my brother...
It's wonderful that the recovery is almost 100%!
Prayers sent for the member of the friend's church.
Oh my gosh, just read this. Prayers coming and a later post.
Prayers for your family, Sionnsar.
Thank you for your faithfulness in supporting my recovery in prayer. It certainly made a huge difference as I did not know what to expect. I cannot take credit for my healing - only God who provided my loving hudband, the skilled surgeon, the physicians, the nurses, the physical and occupational therapists and the loyal friends and neighbors who helped me in so many ways should be given credit. Yes, I worked hard, and am still working to regain full physical health - it has been a long road, but the time and effort have been worthwile.
Again, thank you for your love and support.
P.S.: Will there be dancing at the FReeper Christmas party?
