It was not "Iraqis, assisted by U.S. Marines, toppled the huge statue of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein in Baghdad's Firdos Square. ". It was US marines who toppled it. Iraqis' contribution consisted in dragging the fragments of the toppled statue around, beating it with sandals and urinating on it when it has already been brought down.
