How far is Ansonia from Durham? Didn't that woman have kids? Coincidence?
What a drama queen! Trivializing actual victims of crime.
"She told us her son is now required to call everyone affected by this tall-tale, and give his apologies."
Well that's nice, for a change. She sounds like a good mom. I'm guessing the kid wasn't that badly hurt since he was able to get home on his own and make up a big story. Stupid, stupid whatever he and his friend were up to, a stop better be put to that.
Will he face additional charges for playing with fire?
Google Tawana Brawley
She made the kid lie, and now SHE'S making HIM apologise for it? Sounds like mom is the one who needs some jail time. I'm sure that seeing $$$$ signs was her motive. You know, work up a little sympathy, maybe sue somebody.... it's so sad that some kids have a-holes for parents!
I womder what percentage of these "hate crimes" turn out to be totally bogus? I'd guess at least half, maybe more.
Who trained this child to make such claims, I wonder?
"She made the kid lie..."
It doesn't say that. You think a 12 year old can't come up with a big old lie all on his own, to cover up his own misbehaviour? Have you ever met a 12 year old? That's when adolescence, and all the BS that goes with it, starts.
Yeah, they are historic! I am 56 years old. I can barely remember back to when they actually were more concerned about civil rights and not being the active racists they are today.
Dunno about the other poster, but I wasn't referring to the mother. He learned to claim "racism" as an easy out from his problems from somewhere, though, and I'd be interested in how he learned to do that.
Well his upbringing sure had SOMETHING to do with it. We had a case of a 4 year old making up a story of the abduction of a 2 year old cousin. Where do kids get this sh*t from? You'd be amazed at the stories they can make up. They get it from somewhere!
Obviously, she says she's glad he wasn't attacked, but is still strongly upset about how much pain this her kid has caused.
There; that's much better.
He must attend Cynthia McKinney Elementary school.
Learning that trick at a younger age these days I see.
I'm still waiting for my phone call.
