The soldiers noted the contrast between how most Iraqis live today and what they witnessed when they entered Iraq in 2003. "When we were first here, you could see that it's a very poor country and it was a hard place to live," McCoy said. "Now it's a whole lot better."

I have lots of friends who have made multiple trips to Iraq--without exception they comment on the steady progress in the standard of living, the economy, and the infrastructure. We are doing the things that make a positive difference for us and Iraq in the long run, but our media and the Democrats are focusing on every short-term bump in the road to gain political advantage at the cost of our nation's long term security.

More than that, they are doing exactly the same thing that they did and said during President Regan's time in office when he was battling the Cold War and the Nicaraguans. They want to create another Nam situation to have America cut and run with their tail between their legs. It's all in the book "TREASON." Read it and it is deja-vu all over again.
