AT&T Local customers? Does that mean SBC DSL Customers? AT&T did not have local service customers until SBC acquired AT&T.

Maybe they are talking about something larger in scale than just end-user/consumer & service provider. I know that MCI is or was an internet backbone; maybe thats what this is about?

AT&T may face a class action lawsuit from those customers of companies AT&T bought in that the customers did not sign a contract to give AT&T permission to do this.

As a Bellsouth DSL customer, I look forward to such a lawsuit considering AT&T bought Bellsouth recently.
