My grandmother in Venezuela Has Gained Social benefits never found in venezuela prior to chavez.

But wait a minute, you said Chavez is a capitalist. Now you're bragging about socialism under Chavez. Which is it because it can't be both.

I think you should say He is willing to stick his neck out and risk being assassinated by the US to give Venezuelans what they deserve!!!

Yeah, right! You show your stupidity every time you post anything.

The suspicious links between Venezuela and Islamic radicalism are multiplying. American law enforcement and intelligence officials are exploring whether there is an al Qaeda connection--specifically, they want to know if a Venezuelan of Arab descent named Hakim Mamad al Diab Fatah had ties to any of the September 11 hijackers. The United States deported Diab Fatah to Venezuela for immigration violations in March 2002. A U.S. intelligence official says that Diab Fatah is still a "person of interest" and that his family in Venezuela is "a well-known clan associated with extremist and illicit activity" in northern Venezuela. But when U.S. officials sought Diab Fatah for further questioning, they were told by Venezuelan officials that he was not in the country. Diab Fatah may also be tied to the Caracas mosque of Sheik Ibrahim bin Abdul Aziz, which has caught investigators' attention. One of the mosque's officials, also a Venezuelan of Arab descent, was recently arrested in London for carrying a grenade on a Caracas-London flight. ------ "Terror Close to Home In Venezuela, a volatile leader befriends Mideast, Colombia and Cuba," http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/993592/posts

Tsk, tsk! You really shouldn't have questioned Nitrousfed's military service since he said and I quote from his post #64:

Nitrous has already mentioned it's the Washington way of doing things and that we shouldn't complain when hijacked plane's crash into buildings and kill innocent people.

It was part of the post of his that was deleted.

2004 early : (VENEZUELA & WMD) Spain's Europa Press news agency reports reports that Venezuela purchased "biological and nerve agents" as well as dual-use materials from Spain sometime during the first half of 2004. According to a report about defense expenditures obtained by Europa Press, Venezuela was the only country listed under the category of "states to which chemical warfare agents and radioactive materials were sold." ...The amount of biological or nerve agents probably isn't large --
...Europa Press sets the purchase price at 30,000 Euros, which isn't out of line with the price of a single kilogram of South American heroin. I'm not familiar with the going rates on the WMD black market, but hopefully doomsday weapons are scarcer and therefore more expensive than heroin. (A further 500,000 Euros was spent on the dual-use materials which might be legitimately destined for the petroleum and leather-tanning industries.) But any amount of WMD in the hands of the Castroite Chavez regime is too much.
...President Chavez may be a thuggish autocrat, but he isn't stupid enough to use chemical or biological weapons against American civilians, at least directly. He may see them as insurance against the possibility of an American invasion; however, the United States demonstrated in Iraq that threats of chemical retaliation will not deter us should we decide to invade.
A more likely scenario is the use of these WMD's for international extortion against South American governments. Chavez's alleged links to Colombia's narcoterrorist FARC and to Evo Morales's cocaleros in Bolivia suggest he could find a vector for the weapons should he need one. The implicit threat of arming insurgent groups with WMD's may compel these governments -- especially the precarious democracy in Bolivia -- to accommodate Venezuela's policies or to reject ours. --------- "Remember the Maine?," By Clinton W. The second concern is Chávez support for the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) and the smaller National Liberation Army (ELN). For years Castro has been giving their troops medical care in Cuba. But now Chávez is providing safe haven to them just across the Colombian border....

"Just thought I would Educate you!!"

I think the issue was whether there is an airborne or ranger unit in the National Guard; which there isn't unless you're a Greenie with the 19th or 20th. Now you could be in the Guard and have your Tabs. So who did you know that got you into Airborne and Ranger school with only a 11B MOS? You must have scored pretty high on your ASVAB to get into either?
