They change color, body shape, their snout grows, their hair changes and tusks (we clip the tusks on our hogs when they are wieners, I don't know how big they would grow if we didn't)
And Mean, they get down right dangerous in the wild, they hunt and kill domesticated livestock.
Saw a wild Boar once just go nuts around a Shetland pony Mare that was ovulating, at first it was amusing then it got serious we had to shoot the danged thing or he was going to kill that Mare. The stories about Sows and their young are not to be discounted either.
Unless you know how to handle pigs they can really hurt you especially if they think they have the upper hand. Pigs are as smart as Dogs and they read or smell fear the same way a Dog does, if you are scared of them, they know it.

I've seen pigs chase down and eat chickens. (When I was a kid, half a century ago, lol)
