My bank's automated system greets callers initially with "Press 2 for Spanish" in Spanish. And it's a large bank in a city with decidedly minority Hispanic population. I have discovered I can bleep past it by hitting 1 immediately.
With many systems, you can short-circuit your way to a human by pressing 0, or on some systems, 00.
This is of course "undocumented" (and never mentioned in the recorded spiel!)
