One impt suggestion I would offer to you. Don't get rid of the large pictures that you really like. Keep them in an "Inspirational" file.

When I save both I put an R at the file name of the reduced pixel one. I try to rename ones I like before i do work so there is not the long numeric or code that is used on some websites.

Adding scripture or an inspirational verse, poem etc id a wonderful Holiday gift, get well gift, bereavement gift. I keep a nice selection of 5 X 7 & 8 X 10 frames available for last minute use. the smaller sized pix for Internet use do NOT print as well at the large pixels ones, obviously.

Just a thought as you do this.

an external hard drive can be had reasonable for backup/extra storage

Hi Dolly!
Fortunately, I finally learned to downsize them through photoshop. It's not like I know a lot about photoshop, LOL, but I finally figured out some basics like cropping focus etc. I just have to remind myself to check the image size before I post. Sometimes I forget to do that. :)

I'll never get to the point that you are at with the collages etc. You create such beautiful images.

I hope you are doing very well. :)
