It is struggling for passage because of amendments not being added? LOL

Oh give me a break.

Usually it's the other way around. A good bill is wrecked by amendments. A good bill can and should stand on its own.

IF this isn't an orchestrated stunt in the U.S. Senate to enable a weaker, but still bad bill...

Then it's not being held up by amendments. It's held up because Senators are afraid they've pushed LEGAL American citizens that VOTE too far.

I've read that the number of calls/faxes/emails per day are now exceeding the number over the ports deal. Of course, we'll never know for sure because those Senators that vote for amnesty won't want to admit they're voting over their constituents objections.
