One would never expect Busby to win outright. But it looks like she's going to poll stronger than originally expected. Also, Howard Kaloogian's website gaffe didn't help matters any.

I live in this district. It is not an increasingly hispanic district. If anything it is increasingly asian. The median home price is over $500k. I don't believe Roach has 15%. It is going to be between Kaloogian and Bilbray.
I've seen Busbys commercials. She is an unattractive candidate.

Well, this is my district, and that crazy broad is getting nowhere. She will win the runoff because its one stupid Democrat against a number of Republicans, but she will lose in November against the Republican winner.
She is still running a commercial about Bush letting Dubai "control our ports". She is nuts and a liar when it comes to her fund-raising too.

Some of Bilbray's critics have tried to make an issue of his connections to Metabolife. Bilbray spoke on behalf of the San Diego-based supplement makerRadio talkshow host Roger Hedgecock used to endorse Metabolife, too; it doesn't really matter. However, I've heard other, more legitimate criticism about Bilbray.
I don't live in the 50th CD, but if I did I would be deciding between Roach and Kaloogian. Roach's radio ads are appealing, but I haven't really compared those two candidates.
