It is I who thank you for the privilege of serving. I volunteered. I'm only 2 hours from DC now and hope to travel there some weekend before I leave this post (I'm TDY). Knowing that there are good people in DC who truly support the Troops is very comforting!!
I am truly humbled by your courage at facing these fools. Looking at them and listening to their "two minutes hate" speeches is far more than I could handle.

Thank you for your service. I looked at your pictures and they were a lot more disgusting than what we saw today.
I hope all those FReepers who think we are succumbing to the level of the moonbats by our street protest take a hard look at these pictures.
Our counter protests DO NOT give the a$$holes publicity, they are like amoebas, they self reproduce!!
I'm going to save your link for next time a key board FReeper berates our rallies.
Thanks again. [Mr] T

I asked them that. They have no answer. I also asked them why don't they just go to Iraq and protest there. One of them actually had the gall to say that she HAD been there. Of course, she couldn't remember when or where and suddenly went back to her "homosexual" chanting.

Tell more about these men, Are they patients at WR who hit the street for the Freep?

Oh, they were fired up and ready to go. Both Mrs.T and BillF explained that the wackos wanted violence. So our Troops were cool, but they wanted to act.
When told he could be sued, the Soldier with the cane said, "What can they do to me? The Iraqi's couldn't kill me, what can they do?"

Yes. As far as I know, All are wounded or being medically retired. Others may know more.
One is supposed to go home tomorrow.
To: don-o; bert
They are patients, though some have healed sufficiently to be reassigned. They are waiting for their paperwork.
Several of them are now regulars at the Friday night FReep.
Make it to a FReep with Bert and you can thank them in person (hint- hint)
