Sick beyond belief. The parents did the right thing: pull the kid out of school and go somewhere else. Move out of state if you have to. This must not be tolerated any longer.

Hugging is an acceptable form of saying hello in the South...young folks do it...old folks do it. Our kids never enter our house without giving us a hug....or leave it.

My 7 year old Grandson last year in K-Garten was hugged by a classmate upon going to her house for a Birthday party. As his Mom told me the story about the little girl running out to the curb to greet Justin with a hug....he looked over at me and said: "Grandpa...girls like me". I assured him I understood and had been putting up with that sort of adoration since I was his age...and was quick to point out it never ends and he was probably going to have to do likewise.....given his lineage...(LOL)
