Another example of mindless attack dogs in action. Mobs/gangs, etc. are human garbage. It does not matter their color or their cause. They just love to hate together.

Anyone this side of reality knows the country is full of black racism. The tragedy is that blacks have been encouraged to believe their racism is justified. It isn't, never is. But it's a great tool which the left wing is using to destroy our society.

His sister, Marisa, said he had been walking to meet a friend when he was attacked. Perhaps. But Park and 125th is not a normal place for a white NYU student to have "friends". The only reason for any member of civilization to be there after dark is to change from a Metro-North train to the Lexington Ave. subway line, and there's been no mention that the victim was doing that. More likely, he was there to purchase illegal drugs.

125th and Park has changed in recent yeras and lots of students and younger people are moving into that neighborhood as it is somewhat affordable. If he was there to buy drugs, there are plenty of areas around NYU he could've chosen to go to.

Ever see escape from New York? Maybe that's a hint of what to do with big, corrupt cities.

Funny, back in the day, Park and 125th was where Italian Harlem met black Harlem.
I just remember the huge mural that the black militant put up that was visible from the Metro North stop.
Oddly enough, there are ALOT of students in the area, especially around Lex in the 110s. Most of Harlem's gentrification has occurred farther west, however.

I have felt this way since I first saw that movie back when I was a youngster. Just wall off some isolated area and dump all the criminals there to fend for themselves.

This isn't a hate crime. It is a crime of murder, and all the little bastards that did it should be fried, end of story.

The sources said Hehman might have been targeted as a soft mark for robbers after the teenage gang spotted the caring urban-studies major handing pocket change to a wheelchair- bound man near the corner of 125th Street and Park Avenue Saturday night. Looks like his independent-study efforts in "urban studies" got him up close and personal to the topic and came to a bad end.
Class dismissed.

Hate didn't kill the kid... the liberal parents, teachers, and professors that told the kid not to use common sense did. The kid probably thought he was being all progressive nto to walk around in Sh*t neighborhoods.

Very outdated view. I've lived in this area, have friends in this area, currently house-sitting in this area. I live 5 blocks south of where this happened. Keep your opinions to a non-stereotyped perspective...not all people come to 125th street to buy their drugs. When I went to NYU, if I wanted drugs, all I would have had to do was jump over to Washington Square Park (this said not from experience, but from knowledge of the area). Why travel all the way up to central harlem to get your drugs...seems a bit...crazy.
I definitely feel this would be a whole other case if the racial profiles were reversed. Communities would be up in arms, I would have to wade through piles of reporters and news people on my way to work each morning. Sadly, I did not hear of this until this morning on my way to work. Ironic, no? And in my mind, my heart went out to him even more when I found out what spurred the attack. Most new yorkers past by the homeless, ignoring their existence. this kid stopped to provide a bit of assistance...ironic how he got repaid for that.
Does anyone know any information about where to send cards or such to family?

That this was even mentioned in a newspaper is usprising. Normally "whites" like this kid are throwaways to PC dogma, perhaps this kid was from some rich family.

No kidding. If it wasn't for that evil pot, these fine citizens wouldn't have missed their Math Club meeting and their afternoon volunteering at the local Senior center.
