The Dems were in control for Carter's four years and we made it through just fine. He made things worse, but it's not like Nixon and Ford had the country running like a well oiled machine.
We also made it through the first two years of Clinton just fine as well. Not the greatest, but it was bearable.
See the pattern? Democrat-Lite Republicans are no better than Democrats in the long run and getting them out of office paves the way for CONSERVATIVE Repbublicans.
I would rather be screwed over by an enemy than screwed over by a "friend" any day. At least with an enemy I can see it coming and prepare.
Bottom line, I would be rather stabbed in the FRONT than stabbed in the back...which is what they are doing...and thanking you for your vote while doing it.
