Locate them? They're out in our streets with no permits marching, demanding "their rights". They're hanging on street corners in every city in the country. They're lined up at welfare offices and the jails are full of them.

They're also in the kitchens of the restaurants you eat at, in the warehouses of the stores you shop at, in the factories that slice up the meat you buy at the grocery store, and up on the rooftops of houses under construction. Among other places. I keep seeing the 12 million illegals number everywhere, but what I'm having a harder time determining is the number that are employed. If they all got thrown on buses tomorrow, what exactly would be te impact on our lives? How many businesses would shut down? How many restaurants would go out of business overnight?

So? How many businesses would shut down if the mafia were eliminated? How many businesses would shut down if the illegal drug trade were shut down?

If businesses can only stay in business by illegal means then do they really need to be in business?

If they have been knowingly employing illegals, they are breaking the law and do not deserve to be in business!

This is such a load of specious crap.

Less than a quarter of the agricultural industry is comprised of illegal aliens.

We can survive without dirt-cheap lettuce, but we can not survive as a pale simulacrum of Mexico.

If you think that knocking off a few cents on a head of lettuce is worth eradicating the middle class, erasing our borders, and eliminating the English langauge, then rejoice, because the United States Congress seems to agree with your warped perspective.

As far as I know, restaurants don't have a right to a vast pool of cheap labor.

Too many businesses have this entitlement mentality.

If a few thousand burger joints shut down, that's too bad.

And that goes for construction firms too. No one owes them employees.

keep seeing the 12 million illegals number everywhere, but what I'm having a harder time determining is the number that are employed.

According to Bear Stern a year ago, there were 20 million illegals in the country. According to the Pew Hispanic Inst. half the illegals in the country are employed.
