"Moderation?"
You've got to be joking?!
There is nothing "moderate" or rational about your stance, something that numerous public opinion polls-where the majority of respondents revile your position-attest to.
You're deluding yourself if you think that a majority-or even a significant minority-of Texas Republicans agree with your bizarre Mexico first, America last position.
I'm willing to bet that the rest of the state's non-Republicans agree with the position expressed by the vast majority of AMERICANS, although perhaps to a lesser extent.

I am willing to hold with the rule of law. You are free to bet, speculate, and theorize as much as you desire. Venture a guess as to whether law is upheld, or public opinion polls become legislative process subject to judicial review?

Claimed moderation is the last refuge of the traitor.
